I considered giving up after the public humiliation – Father speaks out in emotional viral video (Watch Now)

The man we saw in the video that went viral, Jonathan Mensah, who is 45 years old, talked only to GhPage media.

“I wanted to end it all due to the public humiliation” – Father in viral crying video reveals (Video)

Mr. Mensah, a carpenter from Akosombo in the Eastern Region, got into big trouble after he borrowed money for his father's funeral.

Last year in December, Mr. Mensah got a loan of GHS 10,000 from Quick Credit, a loan company. The loan had a lot of interest, over GHS 4,000. Sadly, before he could pay back the money, he was in a car accident, which made his money problems worse.

In the video that everyone saw, Mr. Mensah was picked up by people from Quick Credit. They said they were taking him to Kpeve but left him in Juapong. They took his phone and also took money from his mobile money account.

All these problems made Mr. Mensah very sad, and he thought about taking his own life. But he changed his mind because he did not want to hurt his sick mother, wife, and children.

Even now, Mr. Mensah still has not paid back the loan. He told GhPage's King Asu-B about his story and how hard it has been.
