The Big Convo show on April 11, 2024, that his marriage with popular actress and entrepreneur, Fella Makafui, has unfortunately come to an end.
However, Medikal still holds deep feelings for Makafui, referring to her as his "baby mama," and acknowledging her positive attributes despite their differences.
He went further to express his support, stating that he would be happy to perform at her future nuptials should she choose to marry again.
During the interview, Medikal opened up about the reasons behind their split, mentioning several areas where they had conflicting views leading to their eventual separation.
Earlier in March of the same year, Medikal took to Twitter to announce his separation from Fella Makafui, making it clear that although they were no longer married, she remained the mother of his child, Island Frimpong, and that they were both committed to effective coparenting.
This statement was prompted after a social media user mistakenly referred to Fella Makafui as Medikal's wife. In response, Medikal wrote:
"Fella is not my wife anymore; she is the mother of my child, and we are happily coparenting our daughter."
Since then, Medikal and Fella have amicably separated while focusing on maintaining a healthy environment for their young daughter.
Their fans continue to wish them well in their respective careers and personal lives, hoping for peace and happiness in all their endeavors.
