Don’t leave Ghana if you make Ghc5k a month – Serwaa Amihere

A significant number of Ghana's young population dreams of leaving the country in search of better opportunities abroad.

This trend has become so prevalent that conversations with friends may reveal their plans to migrate without prior notice.

Renowned TV personality, Serwaa Amihere, recently urged Ghanaian youth to reconsider traveling overseas, especially those who earn GHS 5000 or higher per month.

Serwaa Amihere took to Twitter to express her views on the matter. She stated, "If you're in your 20s or 30s and making at least GHS 5000 monthly, I don't think you should hastily depart from Ghana." Further emphasizing that life beyond Ghana might not be as promising as perceived by many.

The TV star shared her thoughts through a tweet which read: "I think if you are in your 20s and 30s and earning, at least, Ghs5000 and above you shouldn’t rush to leave Ghana. It’s not all that rosy out there.” (Include Screenshot)

To sum up, while it's natural for individuals to desire improved living conditions, Serwaa Amihere advises Ghanaian youth to weigh their decisions carefully before relocating.

The notion that grass is always greener on the foreign side needs critical evaluation, particularly when one already enjoys financial stability within Ghana.
